Norway donates motorbikes to Malawi

Norwegian government has donated over 100 Motorbikes to Ministry of education, science and technology.

Speaking during the handover ceremony Norwegian Ambassador to Malawi, Steinar Hagen, said they had donated the motorbikes to improve education Sector as data collectors will be easily travelling to schools.

Hagen said the motorbikes will help government to quickly and frequently know what is happening in schools and address the problems.

In his remarks, Minister of Education, Science and technology, William Susuwele Banda said all districts will get the Motorbikes.

Susuwele Banda then called upon other donors to assist the education Sector as it needs resources.
