New MPs Take Oath of Office.

Newly elected Members of Parliament MPs have started taking oath of office at new parliament building in Lilongwe.

Speaking to Radio Islam, spokesperson of the national assembly Leonard Mengezi says 130 parliamentarians have taken oath of office today.

Mengezi said “the process will continue until Tuesday 18th June.”

One of the Parliamentarians, Aisha Mambo Adams has expressed happiness to have been given a second mandate for Mangochi Nkungulu constituency.

Adams says she will continue with development projects she initiated in the in the constituency.
