Muslim Women Lead In Development

Muslim women have been asked to take a leading role in developing their communities.

The call has been made during a fundraising event for Zingwangwa masjid which took place in Blantyre.

Speaking to radio Islam, some of the women who attended the event said “times of depending for donations are long gone, hence the need for Muslim women to solve simple problems within the communities they live.”

In her remarks, Chairlady for Zingwangwa Masjid Alapeyine Chimbende commended the women for supporting Zingwangwa masjid.

Muslim women contributed to the fundraising event by buying a ticket at two thousand kwacha for a Luncheon.
