Ministers Advised To Be Attentive In Parliament
Member of Parliament for Mangochi Malombe Misolo Mussah Kapichira has advised cabinet Ministers to be attentive in the national assembly.
Speaking in parliament Kapichira said he had discovered that many ministers were not paying special attention since most of the time some of them are busy on WhatsApp and move out when Members of parliament make their statements.
He said was not satisfied with what the minister of health had said that Ministers have officials who take notes for them when MPs are making statements.
“What is worrisome is that their officials do not take note of everything discussed in parliament that need Ministers’ action,” Kapichira said
Kapichira said Ministers should learn from other countries’ parliaments where law makers are always attentive to deliberations.
