MANEB won’t entertain late submission of candidates-Director
Malawi National examination board MANEB says will not entertain late submission of the list of students who will sit for the 2019/2019 examinations
MANEB director Cliff Chiunda said this during a press briefing to inform the general public about the preparations of the examinations.
Speaking Chiunda said the board has this far sent nominal row and released the time table for 2019 Primary School Living Certificate Examinations PSLCE and Malawi School Certificate of Education examinations MSCE.
“We want to maintain last year’s record of sticking to deadlines and zero examination malpractices,” said Chiunda
He added that in an effort to improve efficiency and ensure that examination data is stable, they will not open up for late registration.
During the 2018 to 2019 examinations almost half of the candidates who sat for MSCE examinations failed.
Many people attributed the failure to abolishing Junior Certificate examinations and new curriculum
