MAM Saddened By EX-vice Chair’s Death

Muslim Association of Malawi MAM has expressed sadness over the death of its former vice chairperson.

Speaking in an interview with Radio Islam, MAM spokesperson sheikh Dinala Chabulika said the death of Sheikh Shuaib Ibrahim is a big loss to the Muslim community and the country as a whole.

“The late sheikh Ibrahim would be remembered for his contributions towards the growth of Islam in the country,” said Sheikh Chabulika

He has since advised the youth to emulate his good conduct towards dawah and development in the country.

Sheikh Shuaib Ibrahim died at Dedza district hospital on Friday 4 January, 2019 and has since been burried at his home village of Ngondo in the area of Traditional Authority Kasumbu in the same district.
