MAM Extends Condolence To Paramount Chief Ngolongoliwa’s Family.
Muslim Association of Malawi MAM has extended its profound condolence to the bereaved family and his subjects on the death of paramount chief Ngolongoliwa whose body will be buried today in Thyolo district.
In a press release secretary general of MAM Alhaj Twaibu Lawe said Paramount chief Ngolongoliwa was an exemplary chief who encouraged co-existence of people regardless of their religious affiliation.
Alhaj Lawe said “he will be remembered for his noble spirit of tolerance on matters of religion.”
Therefore MAM has appealed to all chiefs to emulate the culture of co-existence displayed by him.
President Professor Peter Mutharika is attending the funeral ceremony with military honours at Mtundawosema headquarters on Wednesday 31 July 2019
Paramount chief Ngolongoliwa passed away on 28th July at Mwaiwathu private hospital in Blantyre.
