Malawi’s ruling party sets convention date

Democratic progressive party DPP has changed the month of holding its convention.

Initially DPP announced that the convention would be held in June.

However, the ruling party has declared that the indaba will be held from 1st to 3rd July at COMESA hall in Blantyre.

A statement signed by DPP secretary general says “Minister of information Nicholus Dausi is chairperson of the organizing committee of the convention.”

It further says all administrative and logistical arrangements will be announced later.
