Malawi registers Cholera cases
Malawi has registered three cholera cases in the 2019 to 2020 season
According to ministry of health all the three cases have been recorded in Blantyre.
“Two cases were registered at Limbe health centre from same village of Chiswe while the 3rd at Makhetha health centre,” Ministry says
As of 19th January Limbe health centre had 3 more cholera suspected cases whose results are not yet out
The Ministry says results of the suspected Cholera cases which were reported in Mangochi and Ntcheu districts are negative.
It adds several suspected cholera cases have been reported this current cholera season have come out negative.
The ministry has further assured the public that it has put in place all necessary measures to prevent further spread of the disease.
