Malawi hosts SADC Ministers Meeting

Malawi is hosting a meeting of the committee of ministers responsible for transport and meteorological in SADC.

The meeting has commenced on Monday October 30 and ends on November 3rd at Bingu International conference centre.

It has started with a meeting of senior government officials.

“The meeting of senior officials and ministers from Beira and North South Corridors will follow and SADC Ministers will meet on the final day,” reads the statement

The committee of SADC Ministers responsible for transport, communication and meteorological has been meeting annually since 2006.

The protocol on Transport is one of the 26 protocols of SADC which enshrine the aims of the community by providing codes of procedure and practice on various issues as agreed by member states.
