IZF Continues Graduating Students Despite Financial Challenges

Islamic Zakat Fund (IZF) continues to graduate students despite the financial challenges it is facing.

Speaking during a graduation of nine students from Malawi College of Accountancy, IZF Bursary Officer, Matias Nkonjo, says the graduates were already in their system as such given chance to complete their studies regardless of financial challenges the organization is facing.

According to Nkonjo, IZF has been receiving little donations since 2020 which is why it is not registering new students.

However, Nkonjo says if Malawians can come together and pay their Zakaat and donations to their organization it could help them reach out to more needy students.

In his remarks, one of the graduating students Yunus Swalley called upon fellow graduates to support IZF so that it can ably support equally needy students.
