Indians Protest Killing Muslim by Hindus

Protests have been held in various parts of India following the killing of a Muslim man by Hindu mob.

Tabrez Ansari, 24, was beaten to death, causing a public uproar.

Protests were planned in about 50 cities.

Opposition Congress party leader Rahul Gandhi termed the murder a “blot on humanity”.

In the Indian capital, New Delhi, scores of people, including university students and activist, held a protest at Jantar Mantar close to tparliament house.
