ICJF Condemns MCP Protests

Islamic commission for Justice and freedom ICJF has condemned acts of Malawi Congress Party MCP and its supporters in some districts of the country.

Its chief commissioner Abdul Rahaman Shaibu Ajas in a press statement said the acts are evil and undemocratic therefore must stop with immediate effect.

Ajasi said ICJF has noted with great concern that the acts continue to disrupt civil servants duties and responsibilities at Capital Hill and other public offices in the country.

“The post elections violence has the capabilities of disturbing peace and development of the country therefore has asked MCP to seriously consider damages they are causing to economy and development of the country,” emphasised Ajasi

Ajasi has also cautioned MCP against the conduct which he said may breach the law of Malawi.

He has therefore called upon Malawians to refrain from taking part in any malpractice that would disrupt peace and development they are enjoying in the country.
