Human Tissue Dealers Jailed 20 Yrs

Senior resident magistrate court sitting at Zomba has sentenced Yamikani Kalimbuka 23 Peter Rabson 30, Diverson Blake 30 and Davison Chimaka 32 to 20 years and 15 years imprisonment with hard labour respectively for dealing in human tissue.

The court heard through the state prosecutors sub inspector Louis Makiyi and sub inspector Kondwani Banda that between the months of January and September, 2016 the four conspired to remove private parts of a person.

The plan was put into effect on 14th October, 2016 whereby they removed private parts of Limbikani Ntulisha and buried the body in the garden within Kalupe village in Zomba district.

“And on 15th October 2016 the convicts were found in possession of a male genital organ believed to be that of Limbikani Ntulisha wrapped in a plastic bag at Matiti along Matawale-Ndege road in Zomba,” prosecutors disclosed

Taking their plea, the four pleaded not guilty to the charges leveled against them and the state paraded seven witnesses to prove the cases beyond reasonable doubt.

In their submission before sentence the state prayed for stiff punishment as it clearly shows that the execution of their mission was so systematic and well prepared.

All the convicts are from zomba district and will also answer murder case.
