Government Urges Malawians To be patriotic

Government of the Republic of Malawi has urged Malawians to protect and love their country.

Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Emmanuel Fabiano has said this during a press conference in the capital city Lilongwe.

Fabiano said it is very pathetic that some Malawians are failing to safe guard Malawi.

“We invited you the reporters so that you inform the nation that Malawi was not involved in the terrorist attack that happened in Kenya. As we speak Kenya has confirmed that no Malawian participated in the attack,” Fabiano said

In his remarks, Minister of Information and Communication Technology Henry Mussa said “government will take necessary measures to get to the bottom of the allegations that some Malawians were involved in the Kenya terror attack.”

Mussa said poor reporting will create instability in the country.
