Girl dies of Safeguard Security Services Dog bite in Capital City

A ten year old girl has died after a dog bite at cross roads hotel near Puma filling station in Lilongwe city

According to police report the dog which had no mouth muzzle ran away from its handler Mtalison Damiano of Safeguard security services.

Meanwhile angry mob has killed the dog and police has arrested the handler on the offence of ommission of duty of a person in charge of dangerous things

The girl Ellen Chawanda was attacked as together with her sister Nellie Chaola aged 20 were coming from Maula side going towards their home at Area 46

She was rushed to Bwaila Hospital where doctors pronounced her death upon arrival
