Dulani Matikiti and Gonjera mwa Allah DVD launched

A Muslim lecturer at College of Medicine Dr Rajab Mkakosya has called for support to Muslim women and girls for them to spread Islamic knowledge.

Mkakosya said this during the launch double DVD dubbed Dulani Matikiti and Gonjera mwa Allah of Mtumbwe Iman Sisters at Chichiri secondary school in Blantyre.

Mkakosya who was the guest of honour advised Muslims to listen to nasheeds as they impart Islamic teachings.

“Nasheeds are very important because they spread message of Islam,” said Dr Mkakosya.

Speaking chairlady of Mtumbwe Iman Sisters Sister Saudia Mboma called for support to Muslim women in spreading Islamic message through Nasheeds.

Mboma said the launch has empowered them to come up with another DVD next year.

“Muslim women have the capability to teach the nation through nasheeds but lack resources,” she emphasised

Mboma said despite the problems Mtumbwe Iman Sisters will continue with the talent.
