DPP to fulfill its promises before 2019-Labour Minister
Ministry of Labour, Youth, Sports and Manpower development says DPP government will fulfill the promise it made during campaign that would construct many technical colleges.
Minister responsible Henry Mussa said this in parliament in response to members of parliament on construction of technical and community colleges across the country.
“Government is constructing the colleges to empower young people,” said Mussa.
He added the construction work is in the second phase because the first one was successful as it was supported by World Bank.
The labour Minister further said “European Union has donated funds for the construction of 14 community technical colleges which is expected to finish in five years time.”
He concluded government is contributing 2 billion dollars for the project.
