DPP Advises Supporters To Maintain Peace

Supporters of Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) from southern region have been advised to maintain peace and order for the country to move forward.

DPP Vice president for the South Kondwani Nankhumwa made the appeal during a regional conference held in Blantyre.

Nankhumwa who is also Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Water Development said “Malawians should not be discouraged by some people who are demonstrating against the just ended tripartite elections.”

On his part, the party’s regional governor for the south Charles Mchacha said he took an advantage of the conference to mobilize members to come in large numbers to the victory parade scheduled on Friday July 12 2019.

The conference brought together all Members of Parliament, district governors and other party officials from the southern region.
