CYECE, Governance Expert challenge Youths to elect good President
Centre for Youth Empowerment and Civic Education CYECE and UK based Malawian governance expert have urged the youth to elect president who will rescue Malawi from numerous challenges facing the nation
Executive Director of CYECE Lucky Mbewe and Junaidi Kalumpha have made these remarks during contemporary issues program aired on Radio Islam where they were on responses of the president Lazarus Chakwera to questions of the youths on his state of national address.
Mbewe said the youths and Malawians should not waste time in complaining but strategize and get ready to vote wisely on 16th September
He says the questions and president’s responses were staged and programmed not from the youths
Mbewe lamented that real questions from the youths were not tackled adding those inside the state house were only relatives, nieces and nephews of politicians who say boma ndilomweli in their party forums
Concurring with Mbewe, Kalumpha said the President’s interaction was not beneficial to the youth
Kalumpha encouraged the youths to wake up and show their anger by voting for the right candidate who has their plight at heart.
