CSO’s elect Balaka district education network committee
Civil Society organizations CSOs have elected Balaka district education network committee which has been not operational for three years.
Speaking during the elections chairperson of Balaka CSO’s Network Charles Sineta said a lot of challenges have been faced in the education sector due to absence of the committee.
Sineta then expressed optimism that the newly elected committee will deliver the best.
He vowed the CSO’s will continue tracking government sectors to ensure quality services are delivered to citizens.
The network recognized the district education manager as secretary of the elected committee and the representative is Mcdonald Sibu who said the committee will help in enhancing quality of education in Balaka.
Sibu said the committee will also help government in resolving some of the critical issues that have been facing the sector.
The committee has also recognized Patrick Ulaya working with FEDOMA in the district as its chairperson
Ulaya said will work closely with the rest of the committee members and other stakeholders involved in the district education system to solve the existing issues and improve quality of education.
