Court jails Chair of Street Connected Children to 15 years

Lilongwe senior resident magistrate court has sentenced chairperson of the street connected children Shadreck Chimpeni 20 to 15 years’ imprisonment for street attacks and Lilongwe bridge robberies

On 16^th September the convict while displaying a knife at two university students who were passing-by near Bwaila district hospital ordered them to voluntarily surrender their items to him or risked being stabbed

And he further showed the students scars on his body bragging that it cost  him life threatening injuries to secure his chairmanship for the city’s street connected children therefore he did not care if he stabbed one of them to death.
