Councillor resigns from DPP

Councillor of Mlomba ward in Machinga district has resigned from Democratic Progressive Party DPP

In a letter to secretary general of DPP Alexander Cosmas says he has resigned because no one in the party seems to understand and care on matters that are simple.

Speaking in an interview with Radio Islam Cosmas says “I recently led a team of concerned councillors and spoke about the challenges they face but there are a lot of misunderstandings regarding this matter.”

He further says those who summoned him created false accusations and gave no chance to explain his side of the story but rushed to conclude that they are going to kill him.
