Chief Sues Petitioners

Senior Chief Msakambewa of Dowa has taken to court petitioners who demand his dismissal.

In an interview chief Msakambewa said that he has taken the issue to court where it can be resolved well.

The concerned people presented their petition to Dowa District Council last week.

Dowa District Commissioner, Alex Mdooko, ordered them to meet Senior Chief Msakambewa to resolve the matter.

The concerned people who did not want to meet Msakambewa proceeded to the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development to deliver their petition.

One of them who pleaded for anonymity said “bad governance and corruption are some of his bad practices that have prompted us to demand his dismissal.”
