Chakwera to take Development Forward, Opposition describes it Campaign Speech
President Lazarus Chakwera has opened the 51st parliament meeting with an assurance to Malawians that he will take development forward
Delivering his state of national address Chakwera outlined various developments his government has done in four years of his tenure.
The president has asked Malawians who registered in all districts to vote for him not opposition politicians who want to take the country backwards.
Chakwera acknowledged remarks by Mary Chilima that she is not satisfied with report of the commission of inquiry adding only GOD knows what happened to the plane before it crashed
Commenting on the national address leader of opposition in parliament Dr George Chaponda said it was a campaign speech as the president failed to tackle all pressing issues affecting Malawians
concurring with Chaponda, Executive director of Centre for Human Rights and Rehabilitation Michael Kayiyatsa said the president has lost an opportunity by not addressing challenges facing the nation
