Chakwera inspects Mzuzu Youth Centre Project

Chairperson of Mzuzu city youth network has requested President Lazarus Chakwera to ensure adequate funds are allocated for completion of Mzuzu Youth Centre

Salome Kadazi made the request when Chakwera inspected the centre Thursday morning

Kadazi says the youths in Mzuzu have been eagerly waiting for the completion of the centre as they believe will benefit them

Engineer overseeing construction of the Mzuzu youth centre says the project was planned to take a year but is still in phase 1 which has cost 3 billion Kwacha

He said they expect to complete the construction in 9 months if no shocks happen

On his part Minister of youths and sports Uchizi Mkandawire said the inspection was organised after the engagement on SONA in Mzuzu where the youth asked Chakwera on completion of the project
