BCC embarks on 90-90-90 campaign

Blantyre City Council (BCC) has embarked on a 90-90-90 campaign in order to eliminate HIV/AIDS in the country by 2030.

Mayor for Blantyre city councilor Noel Chalamanda said this during the Commemoration of 2015 International Candlelight Memorial which took place in Limbe market under the theme of Supporting the Future.

The ceremony was conducted in remembrance of people who died with AIDS related illnesses.

Chalamanda said he has decided to embark on this campaign after visiting Ghana last week where he observed that many countries have already started conducting the campaign.
