Balaka Hospital Commends Islamic Organizations For Surgical Caravan
Balaka district hospital has commended Saudi Arabia based Medical committee for conducting a surgical caravan in the district.
Speaking on behalf of the hospital assistant environmental health Officer Patrick Bonongwe said patients who were supposed to be referred to Zomba or Queen Elizabeth Central hospitals are being assisted within the district.
Bonongwe appealed to patients within Balaka to utilize the opportunity which the caravan has brought to them.
According to team leader of the surgical caravan Dr Abdullah Shbeer two teams will be doing operations on patients with cancer and other diseases for ten days at Balaka and Mangochi districts.
Shbeer said “it is the duty of Muslims to provide help sick people.”
