Machinga women forum calls parliament to reject abortion bill

Machinga women forum has pleaded with members of parliament not to pass abortion bill

Leader of the group Beatrice Chisuse said the bill is against principles of Islam and Christianity.

Chisuse said Quran and Bible stresses that abortion is killing therefore Malawi can be punished if the bill is passed into law.

“The bill will increase deaths of women and girls because of removing the pregnancy,” added Chisuse
