MAM distributes domestic animals to chiefs
As one way of empowering economically Muslims in the country, Muslim Association of Malawi (MAM) has distributed three goats to each 48 Muslim village heads in Rumphi district.
Speaking after receiving the goats, Group Village Headman Chapalaka Mfune from Paramount Chief Chikulamayembe in the district, expressed gratitude to MAM for the program saying will improve his living standards.
Group Village Headman Chapalaka Mfune said he will take care of the goats in order to realize the intended purpose.
On his part, Group Village Headman Thanila of Traditional Authority Katumbi, said “the project will transform his life adding that one day he will be among people who can manage to assist others.”

The program is being initiated with financial support from Kuwait Horizons Charity Society.
