Malawians Hold Ant-Ansah Demonstrations
Demonstrations to force chairperson of Malawi Electoral Commission Justice Dr Jane Ansah to resign have taken place in cities and some districts.
In Chitipa the demonstrators stormed Chitipa Store where police fired teargas to disperse them.

“In Lilongwe police were engaged in running battles with the youth who blocked the road to Blantyre,” said our reporter
The demonstrations in Blantyre were held after the leaders went to court against Blantyre city council rejected them saying they failed to control their supporters in previous protests.
In Mangochi the protesters failed but Zomba have been held in Zomba.
According to human rights defenders coalition which is organising the demonstrations from next week the protests will be held on Thursday and Tuesday.
