Constitutional Court Allows Media To Broadcast Live Elections Case

A Constitutional court in Lilongwe has allowed two media houses to broadcast live elections case.

Zodiac and Times applied to the court to broadcast the case.

The decision comes after the constitutional court rejected the appeal of president Mutharika to dismiss the case.

Presidents of MCP and UTM sued Malawi Electoral commission for declaring disputed results of presidential elections.

The two parties want the court to nullify the elections results as they were marred by irregularities such as tippex.
