NCIC Calls On Construction Companies To Cooperate
National Construction Industry Council (NCIC) has called upon construction companies in Malawi to work together in addressing the problems that the industry faces.
This has been said by NCIC Director, Linda Phiri during a meeting held at Capital Hotel in Lilongwe.
In an Interview, Phiri said there are a lot of problems the construction industry faces which need to be addressed.
“All companies should look into the constructions that take place to know if they are done in a right way to avoid putting people’s lives in danger,” Phiri said
In his remarks, Minister of transport and Public works, honourable Ralph Jooma said “constructions boost the economy of a country so it is a good initiative that the industry held the meeting.”
He said Malawians should expect the best from the meeting because it will help the construction companies to construct good and strong buildings.
