MPS Rebuffs Social Media Document
Malawi Police Service MPS has distanced itself from the document circulating on social media purportedly written by some police officers at national headquarters who are disgruntled with top police management.
Public relations officer for MPS senior superintendent James Kadadzera says their analysis clearly suggests that the document was not authored by police officers.
Kadadzera says the document has been authored by those interested in sowing seeds of the division on political lines within the service for their own gains.
I assure all Malawians that such stories will not divide MPS or distract their officers from fulfilling their constitutional mandate,” said Kadadzera
The MPS publicist says members of Malawi police service remain highly disciplined and aware of the procedure to follow when there are complaints against any officer within the rank and file of the service.
He has commended all police officers for exercising great restraint in the face of unjustified provocation during the post election period.
