Malawi Relief Fund UK donates Artificial Limbs to Twins
Twin brothers with disability from Kanyenda Village in Chiradzulu district can afford a smile as Malawi Relief Fund UK has donated artificial limbs to them at Queen Elizabeth Central hospital.
Their mother Enifa Yobe thanked Malawi Relief Fund UK for rescuing her children from the challenges they faced.
“My twin sons had difficulties going to school because she could not afford to buy artificial legs,” Yobe said.
She appealed to other well wishers to assist her children.
In her remarks, project Manager for Malawi Relief UK Jean Mamu said they identified the twins when the organization was undertaking various projects in Kanyenda village in Chiradzulu district.
“Malawi Relief Fund UK took the twins to orthopedic centre at Queens Elizabeth in Blantyre where doctors attached artificial legs to them,” Mamu said.
