Ex-Minister urges Muslim Women to seek Education, live peacefully

Former Minister of Homeland Security has urged Muslim women to continue pursuing education and living harmoniously with others

Speaking at the graduation of 100 Muslim women who have been trained in tailoring by AQSA in Lilongwe Sheikh Security Uladi Mussa has urged the women to respect their husbands and venture into businesses

He advised the graduates to participate in social-economic activities and utilize properly their sewing machines to generate income for their families

Sheikh Mussa has apealed to all Muslims to work with government to enhance its development agenda

AQSA Chairperson Faizal Aboo stated that the project aims to empower Muslim women entrepreneurs

Aboo encouraged the women to increase productivity and contribute to country’s development

Graduate Alefa Mphanje expressed gratitude to AQSA for the knowledge imparted in the Muslim women and the sewing machines they received which will help them become independent and support their families

AQSA distributed 100 sewing machines, certificates and medals to the graduates
