FEDOMA embarks on New Project

Participation of people with disabilities in decision making processes is expected to improve following introduction of a new project by Federation of Disability Organisations in Malawi FEDOMA in Zomba

FEDOMA executive director Symon Munde says in most parts of the country many decisions which are made are always not cognizant with needs of people with disabilities because they are left out in decision making processes

Munde said the project seeks to enhance the inclusion of such people most importantly as the country is moving towards elections

On his part district gender officer in Zomba Raperth Kamtsendero hailed the project saying will help in addressing gaps which have been fueling exclusion of people with disabilities
