Ministry distributes 83, 000 Tablets in 673 Primary Schools

Ministry of basic education says has distributed 83 thousand tablets in 673 primary schools in the country since 2023.

The ministry’s spokesperson Mphatso Nkuonera in an interview said the initiative has is bearing fruits as from the students that have benefited so far are now able to read and write.

Nkuonera however expressed worry with the behavior of some community members who are stealing the gadgets saying is retrogressive.

He also dispelled rumors connected with the use of the gadgets saying it is just one way of promoting education through digital platforms.
