Court issues Arrest Warrant for DPP Vice President

Lilongwe magistrate court has issued a warrant of arrest for vice president of Democratic progressive Party in central region Alfred Gangata

The court has told police officers that Gangata of Master Security Services is charged with two offences of falsifying records contrary to taxation act and forgery contrary to penal code

According to the court between July 2017 and June 2018 Gangata prepared a false Malawi Revenue Authority document namely Tax Clearance Certificate TCC in order to meet the hiding process requirement advertised by Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources LUANAR
