MACRA submits four Cybersecurity Bills to Ministry of Justice

Malawi Communications Regulatory Authority MACRA says has submitted four new bills to ministry of justice aimed at enhancing legislation of cyber security

These bills focus on addressing various aspects such as e-evidence, e-transaction and digital innovation entrepreneurship

According to MACRA director Daudi Suleman have already completed the public stakeholders review process of the bills

He says the intention is to have the bills tabled during the next seating of parliament

Brigadier Dan Kuwali from national defence college expressed optimism that the symposium will facilitate collaboration among experts from various fields and explore ways to use technology to boost security and development in Malawi
