Muslim Police Officers elect new Leaders

Muslim Police Officers in the country have been urged to avoid corrupt practices for them to deliver to the best expectations of Malawians.

This was said by Secretary General of Muslim Association of Malawi MAM Alhajj Dr Twaib Lawe in Blantyre during an elective annual conference of Southern Region Muslim Eagles.

Dr. Lawe said Muslim Police Officers are very crucial in safeguarding security and promoting peace in the community therefore should practice Islamic principles in their work

In his remarks, outgoing Chairperson for Southern Region Muslim Eagles, Inspector Jawadu Saidi asked Muslim Police Officers to patronize such gatherings in their stations, as they help to network and remind one another on the good characters when discharging duties.

In his acceptance speech, newly elected chairperson detective Sub inspector Cedrick Nsanama promised to uplift welfare of Muslim police officers.

Other members ushered in positions are Sub Inspector AbdulMajeed Mponda vice chair, sub Inspector Loveness Kaondo as Secretary General, and Inspector Edwin Bakali as Treasurer.
