MEC to conduct Voter Registrations for 2025 Elections

Malawi Electoral Commission MEC says the pilot and actual voter registrations for 2025 general elections using Electronic Management Devices EMD’s will be conducted from 13^th September and 21^st October respectively

In a statement MEC says the pilot phase will be held in two phases in councils of Mzuzu, Balaka, Dedza, Blantyre, Chitipa, Neno, Nsanje and Lilongwe

Speaking at the training of 104 officers EMD operators in Dowa chairperson of MEC Justice Anabel Mtalimanja says the actual voter registration will end on 11^th December and advised the EMD Operators to conduct their duties effectively
