Former Malawi’s Minister of Finance Goodall Gondwe has died at the age of 87

Until his death Gondwe was vice president for Democratic Progressive Party DPP in the Northern region

In its condolence message DPP says Gondwe contributed significantly to the party as he was the icon of excellence in economic and politics

In an interview with radio Islam, minister of information Moses Kumkuyu says Gondwe was a dedicated servant of Malawi

Kumkuyu says Gondwe served as Member of Parliament and Minister of various Ministries in different governments
