MERA adjusts electricity tariff

Malawi Energy Regulatory Authority MERA has adjusted electricity tariff by 4.62 percent.

However, MERA says the tariff will be maintained at the current average of 52.72 kilowatts.

“This is because ATAF outcome is within 5 percent statutory trigger limit,” says MERA.
