MAM launches bicycles distribution to needy Muslims

Muslim Association of Malawi (MAM) has launched distribution exercise of three hundred bicycles to needy Muslims throughout the country.

Speaking at the symbolic ceremony held at MAM head office in Blantyre, Secretary General for MAM, Alhaji Dr Twaibu Lawe, said the project is targeting less privileged Muslims to uplift their lives.

Dr Lawe said he believes that through the project, beneficiaries will manage and run their day to day affairs.

He added that apart from earning the living, the bicycles will also ease mobility challenges Muslims are facing in remotest areas.
